President
Requirements Elections
There are three requirements to be President

The president is elected every 4 years via the Electoral College
|
Terms Amendments
The President serves either 1 or 2 terms of 4 years each
|
The 22nd amendment was set into affect February 27, 1951. This amendment limits the number of terms that the president could serve. This was put into place after Franklin Delanor Roosevelt served 3 consecutive terms.

The President chooses someone as their running-mate during their campaign. This person becomes the Vice President if their running-mate is elected president.

Terms Amendments
There is not set limit to the number of terms a person can serve as Vice President; however, no person had served more than 2 terms.

Cabinet and EOP
Requirements Elections
There are only 2 requirements to become a cabinet member

They are not elected, they are appointed.

Terms amendments
They serve as long as the President wants them to.

The only thing that cabinet members do is serve and assist the President
